Both of these vehicles where located in the backyard of the Main Toyota Dealership in Kuwait during 2005.
The two vehicles are a legacy of when the company was the Main Land Rover Dealership.
The recovery vehicle is a 6x4, as the rear axle is non-driven.
The vehicle has very few miles on the clock and in 2005
(just after these pictures were taken).
It was returned to a working vehicle and can be seen in and around Kuwait doing what is was built to.
It is in great condition.
The other vehicle is a 6x6 and it has a bit of a history to go with it.
When it came to Kuwait, it arrived completely fitted out with a hydraulic Simon cherry picker.
The Simon unit was removed for some reason and is sitting only a few yards way from the base machine in the same yard.
(The cherry picker hoist body can be seen in the second pic from the left)
It come to Kuwait many years ago as part of Military / Commercial / Equipment Exhibition.
Shortly after that the dealer lost the franchise for Land Rover.
The vehicle was never returned to the UK.
This vehicle had very few miles on the clock, and it looked in very good condition and was still on the original tyres.
